The Art of Surviving, sponsored by the Raymond A. Wood Foundation, is a juried online art competition held in May every year during Brain Tumor Awareness Month and celebrates the art of brain tumor survivors and patients, caregivers and family members.

Many brain tumor survivors use art as a way to cope with the challenges that come with treatment, a means to calm and focus a healing brain or an opportunity to express their experiences.

The purpose of this art exhibition is to give the brain tumor community an opportunity to showcase their work, share their story and raise awareness and much needed resources to fund critical programs to improve the lives of all those affected by brain tumors.

All patients and survivors of brain tumors as well as caregivers and family members are eligible. Submissions will be accepted online beginning on April 1, 2020 through May 15, 2020 at 9pm ET. All entries will be judged by professional artists and writers. Winners will be announced on May 31, 2020.
